Three ways to bet on mobile
Sportingbet gives UK customers three routes onto a phone: a native iPhone app, Android apps from Google Play, and the mobile version of sportingbet.com in a browser. All three use the same login and balance. The details below were checked against the UK App Store and Google Play listings on 27 October 2026, so version numbers and ratings are correct at the time of writing and will move on.

iPhone and iPad
The iOS app is listed in the British App Store as «Sportingbet: Sports Betting», with Entain Operations Limited as the seller. At the time of writing it is on version 26.10.16, released on 22 October 2026, needs iOS 18.0 or later and takes up roughly 108 MB. It holds a rating of 4.7 from around 2,300 ratings.
The listing describes coverage of more than 90 sports, with in-play and pre-match betting and acca coupons. To install it, search for the app name in the App Store and check the seller before tapping Get. If your device runs an older version of iOS, the mobile site is the practical alternative.
Android: use Google Play
There are two Sportingbet apps in the UK Google Play store:
- Sportingbet - Online Betting (
com.sportingbet.sportsbook.uk) – the sportsbook, with more than 10,000 downloads; - Sportingbet Casino: Slot Games (
com.casino.sportingbet.uk) – a separate casino app, with more than 1,000 downloads.
Install whichever you need, or both. They are the same account, so a deposit made in one shows in the other. Checking the package name against the ones above is a quick way to make sure you have found the genuine listing rather than a lookalike.
Why we do not recommend an APK file
Searching "Sportingbet APK" turns up plenty of sites offering a direct download. For UK players there is no reason to use them, and good reasons not to:
- It is unnecessary. The Android app is available in the UK Google Play store, so there is nothing to sideload.
- You cannot verify the file. An APK from a third-party site may be out of date, modified or not from Sportingbet at all.
- Your account is at stake. A fake app can capture your login, card details or verification documents.
- No automatic updates. A sideloaded copy will not update through the store, so fixes and security patches pass you by.
- Extra permissions. Installing from unknown sources means switching off a protection on your phone that is there for a reason.
If an app has already been installed from an outside file, remove it, install from Google Play instead and change your password.
Mobile site: no download at all
The mobile version of sportingbet.com runs in the phone's browser and uses the same account as the apps. Along the top of the screen sits a strip with Promos, In-Play, Build a Bet+, Football, Horse Racing and Tennis, and the main sections (Live, Sports Betting, Casino, Live Casino, Promotions, Safer Gambling) are a tap away. It suits older phones, devices short on storage, and anyone who would rather not install anything.
Bonuses in the app
Offers are tied to your account, not to the device. That means:
- there is no separate "app-only" welcome offer we could find on the UK site; the sign-up deal is the same wherever you register;
- opt-ins happen on the Offers page in the app or browser, and bets placed before opting in are not counted;
