Sportingbet's help centre is clear that each player gets only one sign-up offer. After that, most promotions are assigned to your account rather than published as codes, so two customers can open the same page and see different offers. Here is where to look and what each type is worth in practice.
Where existing-customer offers actually live
Everything starts on the Offers page (Promotions in the main menu), with four tabs: All, Sports, Casino and Live Casino. Logged out, it shows a single line, "Please login to check personalised offers", because the useful content is tied to your account.
Each offer has a More Info screen. That is where you find:
- the full terms of that specific promotion;
- your progress, if the offer has steps or a target;
- buttons to activate, pause or delete it;
- Offer History, which keeps the last six months of offers you have had.
Opting in comes first: only bets placed after you opt in count towards an offer.
Main types of offer at a glance
| Type | Where to find it | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Personalised offers | Offers tab, after logging in | Assigned per account; only bets after opt-in count |
| Odds Boost token | Offers / More Info, then the bet slip | Has a maximum stake and a maximum winnings figure |
| Enhanced accas | Promoted around major events | Excluded from Best Odds Guaranteed and from welcome challenges |
| Back Up Bet | Offers / More Info | Refund comes as a FreeBet with a cap; no system bets or Build A Bet |
| Best Odds Guaranteed | Applies automatically to eligible racing bets | UK and Irish racing only; £10,000 extra per day cap |
| PromoCode | Cashier, "PromoCode" method | 12 digits, single use, one per campaign |
Odds boosts and enhanced accas
An Odds Boost is a token that lifts the price on a selection, by up to 100% according to Sportingbet's help pages. Every token carries its own maximum stake and maximum winnings, so a generous-looking boost on a small cap is worth less than it first appears.
Enhanced accas are boosted multiples that, according to UK reviews, appear around larger events. They are a separate product from the standard acca, and that has knock-on effects: Best Odds Guaranteed does not apply to enhanced accas or price boosts, and the welcome challenges exclude them too.
Back Up Bets: a second chance paid as a FreeBet
A Back Up Bet returns part of a losing stake as a FreeBet, up to a stated maximum. Sportingbet's own help example is 50% up to 100: a stake of 80 that loses brings back a FreeBet of 40.
Worked through in pounds:
- You bet £80 on a football single at 13/5 (3.60) with a 50% Back Up Bet active.
- The bet loses. You receive a £40 FreeBet.
- You place the £40 FreeBet at evens (2.00) and it wins. The return is £80, but FreeBets pay net winnings only, so £40 lands in your balance as cash.
So the "refund" is £40 of stake, not £40 in your pocket. Back Up Bets cover singles and multiples, not system bets or Build A Bet. For a closer look at how this compares with true cashback, see our page on Sportingbet cashback.
Best Odds Guaranteed: the offer you do not claim
Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) is open to UK residents on UK and Irish horse racing. If the starting price ends up bigger than the price you took, you are paid at the starting price. It covers win, each-way and multiple bets, and it runs from 8:00 on the day of the race.
Example: you back a horse for £10 win at 5/1 (6.00). It goes off at 7/1 (8.00) and wins, so you receive £80 instead of £60.
The exclusions are worth learning once: ante-post bets, forecasts and tricasts, enhanced accas, specials and price boosts are out, and so are bets you cash out. Extra winnings from BOG are capped at £10,000 per day. Other always-on features are covered on the promotions overview.
PromoCodes and campaign emails
Sportingbet does use codes, just not the kind people search for. A PromoCode is a 12-digit code that carries betting credit from a promotion or competition. You enter it in the cashier by choosing "PromoCode" as the method and pressing Submit. Each code works once, you can use one per campaign, and the credit can arrive as cash balance, as a bonus or as a FreeBet. PromoCode FreeBets can be used pre-match and in-play, but not on multiples. The step-by-step version is on our PromoCode page.
Codes reach customers through campaigns, so marketing consent makes a difference. If you have opted out of promotional messages, you will simply hear about fewer of them. Any "existing customer code" posted on a forum without a campaign behind it is best ignored.
What existing customers should not expect
- A second welcome offer. One sign-up offer per player, and "new player" promotions only apply if you have never opened or funded an account with the brand.
- A fresh account on a sister brand. Coral, bwin, PartyPoker and Sportingbet share a licence, and no new accounts are permitted across those brands. Accounts registered before 1 July 2026 can be kept, but new ones cannot be opened.
- A named VIP club. UK reviews find no loyalty club under that name; more on this in our VIP page.
- Refer-a-friend. We found no such scheme at the time of writing.
- Casino spins for sports bets. Since 19 January 2026, UK rules ban promotions that mix products, and bonus wagering is capped at 10x.
